Northwest Fire District Social Media Terms of Use

The Northwest Fire District (NWFD) social media accounts were created to provide our residents and visitors with access to additional information about us. These accounts are monitored on a part-time basis and are not intended to be an open public forum for discourse on any topic. They are limited to information about NWFD and its services.

Before posting to any of our social media platforms, please review these terms. A posting on these pages constitutes acceptance of these terms.

Do not use NWFD social media platforms to report an emergency situation. To report an emergency, dial 911.

Do not use NWFD social media platforms to post any private information or data – everyone can see it.

Do not use NWFD social media platforms to request public records from NWFD.  Records may be requested on our official website here: https://nwfdaz.gov/notices/public-record-request/

Comments posted by others on our social media platforms are not opinions of NWFD; nor does the NWFD endorse any third-party comments on this page – unless specifically stated by authorized NWFD personnel. The NWFD reserves the right to remove inappropriate material, including comments that are not related to NWFD or its services, comments that: abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or violate the legal rights of others, and comments in support of or in opposition to political campaigns, candidates or ballot measures.

“Friending” or “following” of a person or entity by a NWFD employee does not indicate an endorsement of that person’s or entity’s actions or comments.
