The need for a New District Administration Complex was first discussed in preparations of the 2016 bond election.  Even at that time the restrictions of the size of the existing facility were realized and constricted potential for future growth within the District.  Over the last five (5) years the District has grown tremendously and continues to grow to accommodate and meet the community’s needs.  The construction of the New Administration Complex will allow for numerous departments that are tightly intertwined to be located at one location and improve efficiencies within daily District operations.

The New Administration Complex will house the Governing Board, Fire Chief and Executive Team, Human Resource Services, Technical Services, Administration Services, Business Services, Prevention Services, and Community Relations and Public Education Services all at one location.  Currently, these services are housed at four (4) different locations throughout the District. The construction of the New Administration Complex will also allow for the sale of one (1) to two (2) other District owned facilities through consolidation of services into the new site.

Over the last twelve (12) months considerable time, iterations, reductions, and redesign has taken place by the project team.  However, through successful team engagement the final design was able to ensure the initial programming that allowed for future growth was maintained and strategically located each department within the building to improve efficiencies in daily tasks.  The new complex will be a total of 24,422 S.F. and allows for future expansion within each department for years to come.
